The Java Jive Concert Series continues on October 13th with Ambria Collins.
Ambria was born in Greeneville, TN and spent a good portion of her professional life as a reporter for the Citizen Tribune in Morristown. She now lives in Hendersonville, NC, but is making a special trip back across the mountains for this performance. Of the performance, Ambria says, “These songs are pulled from a plethora of genres, yes, but they have all inspired me in some way throughout my life. From putting a smile on my face to helping through the hard times, these words and melodies have truly impacted me in a way only music can. I hope that I can pass that on to the audience.”
According to Ambria’s mother, Ambria has been singing for as long as she could speak. Ambria completed an Associates Degree in Fine Arts-Music at Walters State Community College. Ambria explains, “Music has always been a part of my life. Though I often say it’s a hobby, it’s really a lifestyle. Over the years, I feel I have transitioned and grown as an artist from shifting through music genres and gaining experience, and I am excited for the opportunity to share that with the Morristown community.”
Doors open at 7:15 PM, show starts at 8:00 PM. Bring friends, smiles, snacks, your favorite adult beverage, and a little donation for the hat, which is passed at intermission.
