The event celebrates the wonderful locally-grown food sold at the Morristown Farmers Market. The dinner is prepared by local chefs from Jersey Girl Diner and The Old Towne Sweet Shoppe and is purchased from local farmers. This year’s menu features pork loin, a watermelon appetizer, tomato salad, succotash, roasted zucchini, home baked rolls, and a stuffed baked apple dessert.
This year we are celebrating True Appalachian Music. Keith Watson and Ruth Barber, a husband/ wife duo and their fiddle player are Boogertown Band (see picture below) and they play original Appalachian Folk Music among other music genres. To learn about the band and listen to their music, go to this link: www.boogertowngap.com The music is sponsored by Morristown Pediatric Dentistry.
